MISSION STATEMENT

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office, located in Guntersville, Al, is a full service law enforcement agency serving the citizens of Marshall County by maintaining around-the-clock law enforcement presence in rural Marshall County. Our divisions include patrol, investigations, aviation, civil process, court, prisoner transport, communications, and the county jail. We demand the best from our personnel and maintain an aggressive approach to training and educational programs that prepare the members of our office to meet this demand.

It shall be the mission of the Marshall County Sheriff's Office to provide competent professional law enforcement services with a commitment to preserve and protect human life, property and the rights of all people in accordance with the constitution and the laws of the United States and State of Alabama. We are devoted to our profession and strive to maintain the highest level of public trust while developing our organization to meet the present and future needs of our diverse community. Through this effective partnership we will reduce the fear of crime and enhance the quality of life in Marshall County.

We have designed this site because we believe strongly that the more you are informed and the more we build partnerships in our communities the better we will be at preventing and detecting crime, and reducing crime on our streets. Our staff is committed to enforcing all laws, deterring criminal activity, enhancing the quality of life, and making Marshall County a safer community for all people who live in Marshall County. I have deep respect for your concerns and opinions and I encourage your input.
